Jeremiah graduated the Sheriff Academy on July 23, 2009. He has officially achieved his dream of being a deputy sheriff, and we both look forward to this new start. (Remember his dream was put on hold while he served our wonderful country!) He has quiet the busy schedule between the sheriff department and army reserves! Hopefully soon things will start to calm down a bit, that is until overtime starts!
I went back to college last semester (Spring 2009) and have set my sights on becoming a medical assistant. Some people ask me why I don't just do the online schools and get my certificate, my reasoning is simple.. I'm going for my associates degree, not my certificate. I am pushing for a Spring 2011 graduation date. It is definitely a crazy job trying to be a full time mom, wife, & student! Somehow I am doing it, while keeping everything on the home front down. Speaking of home front... if you haven't heard already, WE'RE MOVING!! :) We were planning on buying a house in the AV.. but with a good look at finances, commuting, and timing we decided to continue renting for another year or two. BUT, we are moving out of this valley and closer to Jeremiah's work. We're renting a beautiful townhouse in Santa Clarita. We are both super excited to be out of the AV, and in a bigger and much nicer place (including the neighborhood). I will still be commuting 2 days a week to AVC, and I am undecided if I am going to transfer to COC or just stay at AVC until I graduate. There is still lots to decide on that subject!
As for Landon. He is becoming such a big boy these days! He has officially learned all his colors, and he LOVES telling you the color of everything! He is also talking a lot more now, I am undecided if that is a good or bad thing! He is still a little monster, but a cute and adorable one :) He always has so much energy, but then again he is a great sleeper and usually doesn't get up until 9 or 10. He is a little monkey too! (Wonder where he gets that from!!) He definitely keeps me on my toes!! His current interest is curious george. Every morning he says "cartoons please".. and he says it so cute I can resist. I think all the curious george episodes he watches helps contribute to the little curious monkey HE IS. lol.
I will be updating everyone on our new address once we settle in and get it. We move on Oct 11, so somewhere around then I will be updating you. Hope everyone is getting ready for Halloween & Fall. My favorite time of the year!!
