It sure has been awhile, I guess I'm overdue for a new post!
Things are still pretty crazy around here. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this semester is kicking my butt!! December 9 is my last day of class.. and I can't wait!! The college is so broke they are cutting A LOT of classes.. intersession had over 100 cuts.. and now has just over 30 classes available!! For Spring tons of classes got cut, so a few of the classes I need for my degree are not being offered. Jer and I have gone over some of the pros & cons of me returning to AVC- or transferring to COC and I think we've decided for me to transfer up here. The problem is that COC doesn't offer your degree in Medical Assistant, they only offer your certificate. So therefore I am going to get my certificate right now, and I will come back later, when the economy picks up and the colleges are doing better, and get my degree.
It's official... Landon is going through a growing spurt. He is usually like a bird when he eats, but for the last week he has been eating a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner! It sure is nice actually seeing him eat!! For breakfast he likes piggies in a blanket dipped in syrup along with a few sausages. For lunch we make him 'the variety plate' which includes corn dogs, chicken strips, & pizza bites along with goldfish, grapes, or apples. And for dinner he eats whatever we are having. Last night it was pasta, and he LOVED the homemade texas toast daddy made. We've also made some awesome progress towards cutting the bottle out of the picture. He now drinks from a sippy cup all day, and only gets a bottle when he goes to bed. We also cut out the horchata, and he will finally drink milk!! He sure is becoming such a big boy, and as sad as it is to see him grow up, I love watching him learn new things and blossom! :) He is doing great with his playdates, and from what I'm told by my friends who've watched him, he does great getting along with their kids! He also acts like a big brother to Taylor. If she is barking he says "Gaylor- NO!" lol. He can say "Tay Tay" but when he says Taylor he cha
nges the 'Tay' to 'Gay' LOL. He also enjoys taking her for walks on the grass. All day long he
brings me the leash and says "walk". His vocabulary is starting to expand.. but he is doing awesome with counting. He can count to three.. and then he needs your help counting to ten.
Well I know I said I'd post pictures of the new place when everything was put away and the pictures were all hung, but all that hasn't been accomplished yet, so I don't have any pictures to post. You'll just have to keep waiting!! :) But I will post a few pictures of Landon Bug & Taylor.
