Before & After [Part 3]

I really didn't get that much done today... but I did get one big task done!

I don't know why the people that lived here before us we're so dang lazy... but they got red nail polish on the staircase, railing, and fireplace frame and decided to paint over it... with the wrong color!! It looked so tacky, I HAD TO paint it! I dug out the correct color of paint from the garage and got to work. The paint was OLD, so it was really yucky and hard to do a nice job, but I managed. And it looks A LOT better now. Unfortunately it took a long time to do, and ate up a lot of my day. Oh well, at least it's done!
